Well done shaun for winning and Ed for making the final.
No bragging rights for either of us captzed, one of your picks may have won, but the other didn't get out of the starting blocks and both my two went out in the semi's so we'll call it even shall we ?

RICO played UNBELIEVABLY well.... I had my chances but just struggled to take advantage of them... I had a bit of bad ball run towards the end but RICO took advantage of his chances.... Including a very nice 3 coushion black at 4-4 when I thought I had RICO in all sorts of trouble! I thought me playing solid snooker would help me but it didn't at all and just made me worse!! Lol. But.... The better player won on the day and RICO was defanately the better player... Played extremely well...
Well done Shaun.

Evens ???????
We had two picks each, and one of mine won, and both of yours didn't. We weren't talking about who'd go furthest, we were talking about who'd win, so where the non winners went out is irrelevant
How you can call that evens. If we had had money on it I'd be sending my associates round to collect as I type.
Remind me to have a watertight ontract drawn up if we ever do have a £5 wager on anything.

O.k. here we go again.
I could be wrong, and I'm too lazy to check back, but did you pick a winner or just two finalists ? anyway I thought I was being kind giving you evens, should we take it to a points scoring system I'm sure I've got you hammered. I'd have thought picking two semi-finalists shows some consistency in player assesment whereas picking a first rounder and a winner could be sheer luck on your part.
You seem amazed Calum, never underestimate Rico, he's equally capable of playing great or playing "pants" there's more chance of mr pants creeping in the longer he stays as he does enjoy a wee tipple nowadays.

Take it to points, Magoo !!!!!!!!!!
Now you're reminding me of my days in the school cross country team, pack 5 or 6 runners in the top 10 and we'd win the match, irrespective of who actually won the race.
But there was no mention of points here, we both picked our two finalists, although you originally wanted to pick 3. Neither of your two made it, one of mine did and went on to win event.
We backed two horses each, if we'd done that at the bookies I'd be collecting on one, whilst you'd still be arguing about points and picking up nothing.
There's nothing to be salvaged here from your career as a Pool Pundit, Magoo.
You made your call, you came up short, live with it.

All I can say in my defence at this point is, I let my heart rule my head, my head must have taken over for a second when I picked shaun as one of my three, but of course you came down hard and fast on me showing no mercy whatsoever.
