Welcome to mrpools.co.uk. On this site you will find lots of information about the events held at Mr. Pool's Club in Colchester, Essex and other leagues and competitions in the local area
As well as regular cash competitions, we run the longest established Singles League in the UK. Entry forms for all our events can be found on this site.
If you register with the site, you will also be able to interact with other pool players in our forums - it only takes a few minutes to get registered, so do it now!

Due to the weather, the fixture list has had to be changed to accommodate an extra week for postponed matches. It has been decided that the planned week for the cup finals (7th April) will be moved to the 28th April with subsequent weeks being pushed back a week. A new fixture list is now available on the website and will be sent out along with the Singles and Doubles entry forms around the 19th March.
The next meeting of the committee will take place on 19th April 2010. Venue to be arranged

 The NEPL Open takes place at Mr Pools on Saturday 27th March at 2pm.
Entry forms are now avaialble at the club, or click here to download one.
Entry fee is just £5, with £100 guaranteed minimum prize fund. Competition is open to all - you don't have to play in the NEPL. There is a quirky format - first round losers go ... |

| Storry takes Winter crown |

 Shaun Storry became the first Winter Series champion last night, beating Ed Mercer 7-3 in the Grand Final played at Mr Pools.
Storry picked up the £550 first prize after a gruelling days pool, coming through against Chris Cass, Barry Rudlin & Glen Sibbons.
Mercer collected £270 beating Jeff Hynds, Kev Smith and Adrian Hogg on his journey to the final.
