| Multiball was a straight knockout competition with a bonus
cueball, a ploy we thought would open up the games by
reducing tactical play. This wasn't to be true and with the
best of 13 frame start (our mistake!) it turned out to be a
long night.
After what seemed to be more of a test of stamina than
anything else, Graham Bryan finally took the title and
cheque after beating the dark horse, Jeff Hynds, 7-3. The
winner received £125, the runner-up got £75 and each of the
losing semi-finalists claimed £25.
